London Calling!
A full day of filming content up in the capital...
What’s that saying?
‘Do what you love and you’ll never work another day in your life again.’
For me, this is filming content, I could literally do it all day every day. It fills my soul. It’s what I love doing.
So on a warm(ish), sunny(ish) day this week I packed my new camera bag with some of my favourite kit (I’ve included the full list below if you wanna see what I brought with me) and headed up to London to test the new Sony Xperia 1 VI!! And took the opportunity to compare it against the iPhone 15 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Shiv, who I introduced in the previous newsletter, also came with me and we set off for a full day of filming to create comparison videos, behind the scenes footage and take plenty of photos. It makes such a difference having someone else there to help and I literally doubled the amount of content I filmed.
Our route 📍
We started off in Regent Street before heading over to Carnaby Street, there’s always so much activity around that area and it’s one of my favourite spots for testing. From there we moved into Kingly Court - brilliant foodie haven - to make use of the colours and light for testing glare and midday light on the three camera phones. After that we headed down through London landmarks Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square to St James Park for A’ roll filming.

London filming days are super fun but long and tiring - so my ritual is always to reward all the hard work with a quick stop for an ‘Old Fashioned’ cocktail in a swanky hotel before getting on the train back to the Cotswolds!
